It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Henneberry (Wills) on November 20, 2019 at the age of 82. Born in Halifax on March 5, 1937 to the late Harold and Evelyn (Poirier) Wills of Halifax, Patsy was a strong, compassionate and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by Ralph, her loving husband of 62 years, her four children Tim (Angie), Brian (Tina), Alan (Kelly) and Valerie. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren Erin (Cody), Evan, Leah King (Brandon), Matthew (Dawn), Justin (Maria) and Evie and her great grandson Jayden, sister Roberta Cooper (Gary) and brother Carl Wills (Gail) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her sister Barbara Makin and brother Harold Wills. Patsy went to Halifax Regional Vocational school in 1955 and completed a Secretarial course and spent most her 30 year career in government working for the Department of Fisheries and Department of National Defense at the Halifax Dockyard in Job Planning. She enjoyed being outside gardening, walking and spent many years camping with family and friends. She was heavily involved in her parish, St Agnes Catholic Church, as a Eucharistic Minister and a Reader during weekly masses and assisted in the operation of the bi-weekly church bingo by balancing the books. Her family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Doctor Scovil and Doctor Knight as well as Doctor Woods and the nurses and physiotherapists at the Abbie J. Lane Hospital in Halifax. Visitation will take place on Monday November 25, 2019 between 2-4 and 6-8pm with a funeral at St. Agnes Church on Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 10am. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery on Mumford Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. On-line condolences can be made by visiting www.jasnowfuneralhome.com. Patsy lived a full life but her proudest accomplishment was as a loving grandmother to her 6 grandchildren, who, although being spread across the country, knew her like she lived next door.
