

Pat Hamilton of Halifax passed away quietly at the age of 77 in the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax on November 10, 2017. We would like to thank the staff of 7A for the care he received while he was with them.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Charles and Mary Hamilton. He is survived by his wife Mary (Robinson) and his son Pat. Also by his sisters, Rosemary, Eileen Casselman (Wayne) and Theresa and his brother, Charlie. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends from all of his activities. He predeceased by his sister Helen Johnson.
He worked in many positions for the Canadian Nation Railway and retired as a Carload Waybill Clerk after 37 years’ service.
An avid golfer he could often be found on the fairways of Nova Scotia courses with family and friends. He was a member of the CN/VIA bowling league for many years often representing his league at the annual Todd tournament that is held throughout the Maritimes.
He was an active member of Slim Jim's of Halifax where he participated in a video article by Eastlink Magazine. As newly minted BINGO enthusiast, he could be found dabbing away at the Fariview Legion and the St. Catherines Church on Bayers Road.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 15 at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm.There will be a memorial service at St. Agnes Church on Mumford Road on Thursday, November 16 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
