I came across this very sad message due to the fact that I wanted to contact Mr. Murray to let him know that I am an educator in part due to his performance as a teacher. I sincerely hope that Paul Murray's family members receive this message. Mr. Murray was not just a talented teacher, he was in fact an exceptional teacher who left an everlasting effect on his students. I looked forward to each and every one of my french lessons due to Mr. Murray. He was bright, energetic, and gave such brilliant tips on how to conjugate verbs, improve upon your expression and and ace tests. He was a truly wonderful mentor, hilarious teacher, and compassionate person. I will long remember his stories about crazy babysitters, his move to Canada and his  patience with middle schoolers. Mr. Murray, I genuinely hope that you knew how much you meant to all of us. You were one in a million and I am eternally grateful for your talent and teaching style. Mr. Murray was one of my favorite teachers ever. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time. what a blessing to have had him in our lives.

Paul was by far the best teacher in my Life and that was my privilege.  He was endless in his humor, storytelling, compassion of others, passion in his teachings and a man of strong character.  I valued his friendship after the school years into my adulthood and to this day still reflect  on his words of wisdom.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Murray's passing.  He was a brilliant teacher and a genuinely kind and understanding man.  He'll be sorely missed.  My sincerest condolences to his entire family and friends.

So sorry for your loss Murray family. Mr.Murray was such a great teacher, he always made time for any student if they were having any trouble with french. He was a caring man and always made you laugh when you were down. I wish there were more teachers like him.  He will be greatly missed.  God Bless you all.

I have very fond memories of being in Mr. Murray's French class.  He was a wonderful and humorous teacher.  His dedication to students and willingness to go the extra mile and organize a school trip are just a couple of things that stand out in my memory of him.   Many thanks to him for all that he did and gave to us and my sincere condoleances to his family.

Mr. Murray was one of if not my favourite teacher. He was my French teacher and confirmation teacher in Grade 9 at Cornwallis Jr. High. He was always upbeat, engaging and cared whether the students got it right. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Murray's family and those close. Very sorry for your loss. Great educator.

Mr Murray was a wonderful teacher and we all had such fun in his classes. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I will never forget his French class and how he would make learning a blast. Rest in peace Paul.

By far, Mr. Murray was both mine and many others favorite teacher at Oxford School. Being in his French class, my memories are ones of laughter, jokes and, of course, tales of growing up in Scotland. You could tell he loved his job and he had the ability to make each of his students realize they were someone special and that we mattered. Rest in peace Mr. Murray, until we meet again.

We are saddened to hear of Paul's death. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Paul during my six years at Cornwallis. He had the gift to entertain his students while also challenging them to learn.
