Phillip L. MacInnis

Phil was born Nov 11th, 1976 to Larry MacInnis and the late Nancy MacInnis. He is survived by his son Aiden MacInnis (Leah, Kyle, Michael, Kimberly, Owen), his Wife Rejeanne Hollet, his three stepchildren Gabrielle, Jullian and Georgia, his father Larry MacInnis, his sister Janet MacInnis and brother Alain Turbide

Phil grew up in Fairview, He graduated from Halifax West High School. He was an amazing athlete, hockey being his passion. He had a few different jobs over the years; DJ, bartender until he found his true calling being a fisherman. The first trip he took, he was hooked. Phil learned to fish from his father at a young age and he loved being on the ocean. Not many people love their job but Phil truly did.

His other passion was being on his Harley Davidson. Phil had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that lit up a room. He was brave, strong, generous and kind. Phil had countless friends and family and will be missed so much by everyone.

Phil’s service will take place February 15th from 3-6 at Snow’s funeral home on Lacewood Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetic Foundation of Canada in Phil’s mother’s name (Nancy MacInnis)
