

NOËL, Pierre – Passed away May 28, 2010, after a long and persistent battle with cancer. He fought with courage and determination without ever complaining. He was one of those individuals that liked everyone he met. His legacy lives on in all those lives that he made better with his presence. He reserved his deepest love and affection for his wife Debby. After retiring his career with Air Canada he ventured for something new in music, starting Karaoke in 1991. He also worked as an interpreter throughout the province and at the time of his death was employed with Service Nova Scotia. Pierre had his private pilots license, and enjoyed gliding at Stanley’s Airfield with his passion being aviation. Pierre’s zest for life, his humor and courageous battle was lived until the end. His greatest achievement was nurturing the love of his family and friends. Pierre is survived by his wife, Debby (Taylor) Noël; daughters, Tara Nagle(Jay), grandchildren, Jake, Alex, and Madison; Tracey Nagle (Ryan), grandchildren Samuel, Simon, and Kiley; father-in-law, Edison Taylor (Adelaide); brothers-in-law, Robert Taylor (Chelsea), Kenneth Taylor (Susan). Also surviving are sisters, Marcelle Mancuso, Denise Clouette (Andre). Pierre was predeceased by his parents, Bernadette and Rodolphe Noël. Pierre’s remainds have been cremated and visitation will take place in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Friday, June 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 5 at 1p.m. in Edgewood Oxford United Church, Halifax. Donations can be made in Pierre’s memory to provide comfort measures to patients in the Palliative Care Unit, 7A, VG Site, QEII Hospital, 473-7932.
