Age 70, of Upper Stewiacke, formerly of Williamswood, Halifax, passed away December 24, 2014, in Townsview Estates, Truro, due to a short illness. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Clarence and Rhonda (Marriott) Brunt. Loved being around people and very friendly.
Survived by brothers, James (Gloria), Timberlea; David (Sandra), Terence Bay; Melvin (Ann), Hammonds Plains; Fred (Mary), Bridgewater; sisters, Ethel (Donnie) Nicholson, Isabel Horton and Margaret Brunt all of Upper Stewiacke; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Lionel; sisters, Juanita and Sandra. Will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Funeral service on Tuesday, December 30 at 2pm, also at the funeral home, Pastor Dave Hodder officiating. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sackville.
