Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Arnold) Curran. Scott graduated from Charles P Allen High School and pursued a career in Heating and Air Conditioning at Halifax Vocational School. During his career, Scott was employed at Hussman Canada, East Coast Reefer, and last DND. Scott was a NASCAR fan and a diehard Davey Allison fan. Scott was a black belt in Taekwondo, loved camping, friends and family. Along his journey Scott devoted 10 years of his life to addition services helping others. Ultimately for Scott the sun rose and set on his two girls, Allison and Amanda.
Survived by his daughters, Allison Rebecca Curran (John Walker) and Amanda Morgan Curran and their mother, Jacqueline Fougere; brothers, Ronnie (Ellie) and Randy (Angela); sisters-in-law, Brenda, Janis, and Tricia Fougere, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at 2 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, (902-455-0531) followed by a reception. Donations in Scott’s memory may be made to Crosbie House Society at www.crosbiehousesociety.com.
