Sean Penny

PENNY, Sean William — 51, died suddenly in Vancouver, B.C. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Kevin Penny and is survived by his mother, Carol Lee (Manson); twin sister, Shari Brooks; brothers, Greg (Kathy) and Brian of Halifax; nephews, Kevin, Steven, Colin and Matthew. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Halifax in 1978 and from I. W. Akerley Community College, Dartmouth in 1982 with a Diploma in Hotel Management. He worked in the hotel industry for 32 years, of which the last 23 years were in British Columbia. Cremation has taken place in British Columbia. Interment to take place in Halifax at a later date. Visitation will be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 today, June 19th from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in Canadian Martyrs Church on Inglis Street, Halifax, Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
