Shelby was pre-deceased by her parents, George and Lena Tanner and her brother Richard Tanner. She is survived by her loving husband Charlie of 53 years, daughter Ella, Tim (Fleet) grandchildren, Jolene and William. Sister Vivian, Brothers, George, Tony and Billy. Many sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Shelby grew up in Spryfield, Nova Scotia. She enjoyed working many years at Ben's, Sears, VG hospital and house cleaning.
Shelby loved to travel down south with friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, sitting on the deck and socializing, Thursday night girl nights and of course her grandchildren.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Prospect road fire department, EHS and palliative care nurse Thēa.
At this time there is no service.
