Teresa Ann Novelli

Born on February 6, 1952, Teresa was predeceased by her parents Frank and Clara Novelli, her sisters Lana, Leslie, and Connie, her brothers Frankie, Gary, and Tony, her niece Lucia, and her sister-in-law Carolyn. She is survived by her loving partner Jimmy Goyetche, her sister Lisa Novelli, and her brother Carlo Novelli, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who were blessed to know her. She will also be fondly remembered by Jimmy’s brothers, Brian (Christine) and Aubrey (Clara) Goyetche, who loved her as part of their family.

Teresa was a bright light — always smiling, kind-hearted, and full of joy. Her laughter could fill a room, and her warmth made everyone feel at home. She had a gift for finding happiness in the simplest moments and sharing that joy generously with others. Her gentle spirit and endless kindness will never be forgotten. “Her light may have left this world, but her warmth will forever live in our hearts.” A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the compassionate staff and volunteers at Halifax Hospice, and to the close friends and family who stayed by her side with love and support until the very end.
