Our thoughts are with the Tregunno family. We have lost a true champion of the industry.

The board and staff of Landscape Nova Scotia.

To the Tregunno Family:

Tim was well known and respected by all in the Canadian Seed Trade for his skillful management during his tenure as a Board member and President. He had great enthusiasm for all outdoor activities, particularly fishing and sailing. We was justifiably proud of his Atlantic, Canada roots and, with great passion, organized two wonderfully successful CSTA annual meetings that showcased the best of Halifax. It is very sad news to hear of Tim's passing. We will remember him and we express our sincere sympathy to Nancy, Emily, Alison and his family.

To Faith and family, So sorry to hear of Tim's passing. I know he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to you and your family, as well as Tim's family. Glenna Earle, St Margaret's Bay and Zephyrhills, FL

So sorry to hear of Tim's passing. We had the pleasure of getting to know Tim (and Nancy) at early morning workouts at Slim Gyms. He had a great sense of humor and we always looked forward to sharing a few jokes. He will be greatly missed.

Nancy, Emily & Alison

Corie and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy. We've always thought of Tim as a true gentleman. He was obviously a savvy, successful businessman, but never flaunted his position or station in life. It's that humility, quiet leadership, and dedication to his family that we'll remember the most.

Corie & Neil Arbuckle, Winnipeg, MB

To Warren and Tim's families, our deepest sympathy. Dick enjoyed his relationship with your families over the years and our thoughts are with you.
Sincerely Barbara ,Jeff and Gary Morton

Nancy and family, I send our deepest sympathies and our thoughts are with you.

Randy & Chris Cunningham

Nancy, Emily & Alison

I have known Tim for many years while serving with him on the CSTA board. Tim's steady guiding hand and common sense approach were very impressive qualities. I was most impressed with how he sent his daughters to a recent CSTA meeting with a list of people that they had to meet. I now know that was Tim's way of saying good bye. I feel very privileged to have been on that list. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Tregummo Family,
I was deeply saddened to read of Tim's passing. We worked together in the Canadian Seed Trade for many years. I have great respect for his honest, practical approach to the many diverse challenges we faced as an industry, and his leadership in getting results.
I wish you God's blessings and protection for you and your family during this difficult time

 Dear Lesley,
My condolences to you and your family. I am sorry that I never had the pleasure of meeting Tim. But then, over the years I have spent many hours in Halifax Seed and surley must have passed by him there.
Kindest regards,
Martha

Dear Nancy, Allison, Emily and family:

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father Tim. Tim was a real gentleman and a great supporter of our landscape industry here in the Atlantic region. He was always very helpful in his business activities and he will be sorely missed on all fronts.

We would be pleased to donate and plant a tree in his memory at a location of your choice this coming spring. Perhaps we can do it through the Landscape Nova Scotia association of which he was very active and a strong supporter of.

Nancy, Allison and Em,

To the Tregunno family,
I was saddened to hear that the world has lost such a great person. Tim was an understanding, intelligent man who, without effort improved the life of all who were fortunate enough to interact with him, be it on a busniness or personal level. Tim was definitely one of the good ones.

Dear Nancy and family,
Jim and I were devastated to hear of Tim's death. Although we knew the day would come when we would lose him we still hoped and prayed for a miracle. We wish we could be with you on Friday, but we will be there in spirit. Take care of each other. We love you all!

To the Tregunno family
The members of the Forties Garden club extend our condolences to Alison, Emily, Nancy, Warren and Joan at this sad and difficult time. The family while coming to the cottage at the lake here developed friendships with members of the community and our garden club members in particular. Over the years the family has been very kind to the club and the staff at Halifax Seed always helpful. Tim was a very kind person and gave of his time to many things. We know he will be missed by his family and by the family of Halifax Seed and he will be also missed by the extended family of lovers of gardening.

Alexa is sorry that she cannot be here for you Alison.

Dear Nancy, Emily and Alison
I was sorry to hear from Alexa that Tim had passed. I do hope your wonderful memories of him will support you at this difficult time.

To Nancy, Emily and Alison.... My first memories of Tim were from my folks deck on Sherbrooke Lake; waving as he'd canoe by. Then, babysitting for 2 amazing little girls. My thoughts are with you all from across the miles.

To Tim's family ,prayers and sympathies go out to you . I had the privilege to work with Tim in the landscape -horticultual industry for many years . He was a remarkable individual and great asset to the industry , always ready to help . God bless .

Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Tim's family and the Halifax Seed staff. Many of us have fond memories of Tim through Halifax Seed and the many times he stopped in to visit when he was up in Fredericton. Tim always had a smile and a genuine interest in how things were going at the nursery and how everyone was doing. Tim maintained a high level of integrity and service with Halifax Seed which I am sure will carry on as his work family shared his pride of The Halifax Seed Co. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
From all the Family & Staff at Scott's Nursery

To Nancy, Emily and Alison, although we will be unable to attend the Memorial for Tim we wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Jennifer is living in Toronto and when we let her know about Tim she wrote to us '...that is so awful, I know how close Alison was to her Dad'. While we saw your family more during the time the girls were in school we did see Tim at the store and he never failed to share what the girls were doing; such a proud Dad.
Warmest wishes,
Janet, Jerry and Jennifer Bray
Halifax

So sorry to hear of Tims passing I went to school with him at Westmont right from primary on. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

Dear Alison. So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. May all the special things about your Dad live in your heart forever. My deepest sympathy to you an your family. Please know you are in my thoughts.

Dear Nancy and family, although we only had a few times to share with Tim while he was here on Corkum's Island, we certainly knew him well enough to be deeply grieved at the loss of such a fine man. Our sympathy to all of you,

Nancy, Warren and family;

Tonight Dad and Carolyn and I read of Tim's passing in the paper. We are saddened by the loss of a former neighbor and friend. Years ago when I was reseeding the grass on Milsom Ave, Tim taught me a way to make the seed take faster, and I had a wonderful lawn. Some years later I repeated the trick on an acre of land when I built a new house in Saint John. My neighbours thought I was nuts, and should use sod. I have the finest lawn in the area, and have thought of Tim's great advice often when I am tending it. This year, when the grass is perking up, I am sure I will think of Tim. He has left a wonderful yet simple legacy to many who knew him.

God Bless you and your family, although we can't attend, we will be with you in our hearts.

John and Carolyn Trivett, and Cannon Donald Trivett, Saint John

To the Tregunno family, I am sorry to hear off Tim's passing. He was a great man and will be missed.

To Ali, Emily and Nancy,
My most sincere sympathy on the loss of your father and husband. May you find comfort in family, friends and memories.

Dear Nancy: I would like to express my sincerest condolences to you and your family at this very difficult time. Tim will be sorely missed by all the lives he influenced by way of his typical friendly, humorous and positive approach to life.

Of behalf of his many friends from Aitken House and UNB, we all have fond memories to reference as a result of the many wonderful experiences we shared together with Tim.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Sincerely, John Thompson

The entire staff and Management of Vesey's Seeds Ltd. on Prince Edward Island wish to express our sincere condolences to the Tregunno family at this time of loss. So many of our staff have gotten to know Tim over the years and as such we have enjoyed both a professional and personal relationship with him through our common gardening interests. As we fully realize, Tim will be missed by so many individuals he has come in contact with over the years. As well, our industry has certainly lost a leader and a person who could not only see the necessity for change and growth but a person who could make it happen. There will always be a very warm spot in the hearts of all Vesey's employees for the memories we have of Tim and the manner in which he conducted his affairs. Our sincerest feelings of sympathy are with you all.

To Joan and Warren: Deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. Although I will not be in attendance at Tim's memorial service, please know that my thoughts are with you. Sincerely Dave Swan (and family)

From Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, through the Toronto Star, It is with sorrow that we have learned of the death of Tim Tregunno. Although I may have met Tim at some time, it would have been when he was a very young man. But I certainly know and have been friends for many years with Joan and Warren and with Uncle Don and Aunt Gretch. Elaine joins me in extending our condolences to them and our sympathy to his wife, Nancy, all of the family.

Hi I am Richard Morse, Alexa's Dad. I turn 55 in July so Tim's death really hits home on so many levels. I only met Tim maybe 3 or 4 times but because of Alison and Tim's profile in the community I feel the need to comment on the loss of such a terrific person who is missed by so many.
I shared many of the same experiences that Tim enjoyed. I believe there is a picture of Tim for example in Budapest a place our family visited last year and the sailing which I did many years ago. I could go on but to Alison and Nancy and the rest of your family my sincere condolences on the loss of Tim.

Richard Morse

To the Tregunno Family: We thank you so very much for sharing this amazing man with the Canadian Seed Trade Association. His commitment to the industry and to our Association were second to none. His knowledge, experience and dedication was invaluable, but it was his friendship that we will miss the most. Our thoughts are with you.
