Vaunda Leigh Keating

KEATING, Vaunda Leigh - It is with deep sadness that the family of Vaunda Keating announce her passing on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Vaunda was born in Oxford, NS to the late Doris and Leigh Smith. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Keating and by her sister Ardis Smith. Vaunda enjoyed baking, talking on the phone to friends, doing activities with family and sitting on her deck swinging on her swing. Vaunda will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughters Lissa Dore (Randy), Tanya Pellow (Kevin); her sisters Betty-Anne Brown (Aubrey) and Gwen Bruner (Peter) and her brother Dwayne Smith (Delilah); as well as her grandchildren and many other family and friends. Vaunda is also survived by her daughter Ronalda Ross. Vaunda will be resting at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 with visiting hours on Thursday, May 31 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Vaunda’s name can be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the charity of your choice.
