What started out as a business relationship twenty years go quickly evolved into a  friendship.
When I took the family to Nova Scotia, we drove everywhere to sight-see as much as possible.  When I ask the kids about their trip, the one thing they remember the most is the boat trip that Wally took them on.
When Wally came to Alberta we would often go skiing or golfing and we would always put the world to rights over a beer or two. We fixed everything - Soup to Nuts!
I will miss him greatly.

My sincere condolences to Susan and Wallace.   My memories of Wallace as my cousin growing up were happy ones.  He was a "gamer" and enjoyed having fun, especially with his "ski buddies".   Aunt Claire and Uncle Ralph were very proud of their loving son.   Wallace will be missed by his family and friends.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Wally. We will miss seeing Wally and Abby at The Ravenscraig field. A truly special person, Wally welcomed us with warmth when we moved from Toronto to Halifax. Wally will be remembered fondly.

Dear Susan and John,

Wallace has been at the center of  our thoughts during this past week since hearing the news of his death. Wallace’s mother  was our ‘Aunt Claire’ and we enjoyed many letters and pictures from her during Wallace’s childhood years. They described  the  many activities and celebrations  she and Uncle Ralph enjoyed at Cornwallis Naval Base with their very special only child - Wallace!

 Years later our mother ,  Aunt Claire’s  sister would talk about the loyal support and care  which Wallace provided to his aging mother  especially when he included her in many rich and wonderful visits with you and John .  It is with sadness and nostalgia that we convey our deepest  condolences to both of you on your loss. Take care of yourselves during this period of mourning.

We are away, and so sad to hear of Wally's passing.  Please accept our
sincere condolences..we have so many wonderful memories of sailing
and skiing.  We remember one Chester Race week, last day of racing, 
a win would give Tormentor the Trophy..Off the stern goes Wally..He
somehow caught the main sheet that was dragging behind, and we watched
him "skip" across the water.  We dragged him aboard, and finished for the
win!!  Fond memories of John's skiing career and the passing of "gear" to
Christian..remember the good times.  Sending our Love and a Big Hug.

Many happy hours were spent on the slopes of Wentworth & on Chester golf course.
Still remember no matter how cold it was skiing  Wally went without a hat !!!!
