Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Teresa (Hartnett) White.
He retired from CFB Dockyard.
He was predeceased by sisters Margaret and Helen and a brother, Charles.
Survived by a nephew, Reginald (White).
Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 on Wednesday, March 28th from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica on Thursday, March 29th at 10:00am, Father Tadek Jordon, celebrant. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
