Wayne Francis Jessome

Born in Sydney and raised in Florence, Cape Breton. He was the oldest son of Tina (MacNeil) Jessome and Stephen Jessome.

My Dad was proud that he served in the Navy from 1972-1975. He worked for Syncrude for 34 years. He was an AVID Toronto Maple Leafs fan since he was 5 years old, and never looked back, much to his grandmother Jessome's chagrin.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy, his parents, two sisters: Pamela and Patrice, and his brother, Ian.

He is survived by his loving daughter Sherri-Lynn, his siblings: Barbra, Darrell, Earl, Shaun, Tena, Angelina, and Stephen, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dad also leaves behind his loving dog, Forest.

As per his request, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Cancer Society.
