Webster was the second of three sons of the late Carman and Dora (Hardy) Creaser. He was born April 26, 1938, in Riverport, Nova Scotia.
He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 58 years, Carol (Edge), children Chad (Sharon), Shelley Lynn (Michael), grandchildren Alissa, Jessica, Logan, Duncan, and Reagan, brother Gary (Joyce) and many nieces and nephews.
Webster was pre-deceased by his parents Carman and Dora, his brother Kenneth (Joan), and his and sister-in-law Lillian (Stan).
Webb was a proud graduate from Lunenburg Academy, and although he made his life in Halifax, the South Shore was where he was most at home. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible travelling with Carol, and in the early days, camping in their trailer all over Canada and the USA. Eventually they parked it at Ponhook Lake on the "S". He spent many summers there eventually building their dream cottage where he and Carol would spend the days watching the hummingbirds, loons, and boats on the lake. They enjoyed the sunsets, as well as their family, grandchildren, and friends swimming and enjoying summer days. Immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, he always loved to hear what they had been doing or any of the things there were involved in from sports to art or music.
He will be missed most of all by the love of his life and best friend, Carol. Together they shared many amazing adventures with each other. From a Caribbean Cruise, to Hawaii, to Iceland, to Ireland and Scotland, and many more. They were always up for an adventure.
Webb enjoyed playing cards, going dancing around the city, as well as trying to beat Carol at the weekly Lexicon word puzzle.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of 9B Centennial Building (Victoria General Hospital) for their compassion and caring.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 5, at 11:00am in Cavlin Presbyterian Church, 3311 Ashburn Ave, Halifax, NS
Family flowers only.
