He was born in Brownwood, Texas on April 13, 1964 to the late William Joel Thompson and Lela Mae Fitzhugh Thompson.
Boyd married the love of his life, Vicki in Hamilton in 1992 and gladly became a wonderful father figure to Josh and later welcomed his daughter Brandi.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed. He had many friends and loved to sit around swapping stories or riding the back roads with a cold beer.
Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, several close friends and family.
He leaves behind his wife; Vicki, son; Josh and wife Brittany, daughter; Brandi and husband Brandon, 6 grandchildren; Danny, Skyler, Nicholas, Jaycie, Jacob & Kayleigh, brother; Gary, sisters; Judy, Brenda, Janet, Cindy and Teresa, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Riley Funeral Home.
