Joe C. Dalton, age 86 of Hamilton died March 20, 2020. Joe was born on September 8, 1933 in Purvis TX, to Elder Len and Mollie Lou Wells Dalton. Joe was raised in the Hamilton area and married Wanda Nell Jackson on July 14, 1953, with his father Elder Len Dalton holding the Rites of Matrimony.
In 1966 Joe and Wanda started Dalton Drilling Service to serve the Hamilton County area. He was a local pilot for 15 years, a member of the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years and helped with all of the County Fire Departments services. Joe was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hamilton and loved to spend time with his coffee friends and hanging out at the Hamilton Airport.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Dalton, son Tom Dalton. He is also survived my numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe had longtime special friend Keith Curry, and special adopted sons, Howard Pierson, Steve Watson, Keith Allen Curry, Darryl Marwitz, and Scott Lee that he claimed as his own.
