Marvin Henry Andrews

Memorial services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at The Barn Church.

Marvin was born in Hamilton, TX on January 6th, 1945 to Alvie & Audrey Andrews. He was born 10th of 16 children. Marvin graduated from Hamilton High School in 1963. He became a minister in 1965 and it was his life’s work from that point on until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bailey Andrews, and three children, James Andrews and wife Sherry of Greenville, South Carolina, Carline McCullough of Stephenville, Texas, and Dennis Biggs and wife Julie Biggs, of Gatesville, Texas. He was an adored grandfather to seven grandchildren, Brandon Andrews, Blake Andrews, Alex Andrews, Cameron Urteaga, Morgan McCullough, Chasiti Biggs and Logan Biggs, and great-grandfather to Ava Andrews.

Marvin’s remaining brothers and sisters are Clara Lancaster, Dalton Andrews, Corky Cathey, Doris Donald, Charlene Kirkland, Mary Brumbalow, Bernard Andrews, Naomi Weems, Esther Milloy, Brenda Edwards, and Kenneth Andrews. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Audrey Andrews, brothers Eddie Andrews and Burt Andrews, sisters Ruth Jones and Audrey Meade and daughter Carla Andrews.

Marvin was a beloved daddy, pawpaw, brother, husband, friend and pastor. His life has meant so much to so many and he will be missed. He was selfless, faithful and loving to the very end. His life and legacy of kindness and love for Christ is an inspiration and we know he is rejoicing in Heaven today
