Mrs. Jones was born July 30, 1918 in the Lanham community, the daughter of James Willie and Fay Crosby Oglesby.
She was married to Robert Kooken Jones in Crawford on November 15, 1940. She was a homemaker. She was a great cook and seamstress. She always enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren. She was faithful to the Lord and was a lifelong member of the Lanham Methodist Church.
Survivors include two children, Helen Holley and her husband David of Hamilton and Kay Nelson of Lanham; two granddaughters, Lisa Allen of Hamilton and Melissa Lynn of China Spring: five great grandchildren, Paul Allen, Eric Allen, Andrew Lynn, Bailey Lynn and Lauren Lynn. Funeral services were held on Sunday February 19, 2012 at Lanham Methodist Church with burial at Lanham Cemetery.
