Morris Nolan Lane

Morris was born on Sunday, December 9, 1923 in Evant, Texas to James Riley and Marcilla Harrigal Lane

Morris grew up in in the Evant area and on Friday, August 4, 1944, he married Hattie May McCuistion in Comanche, Texas.

Morris was a member of the Evant Baptist Church.

Morris was preceded in death by his loving wife Hattie May Lane in 1996 by both of his parents, his sisters Winnie Shelma Riley and Ruby Lee Lane; his brothers, Lawrence Lane, William Wesley Lane and Roy B Lane.

Morris is survived by his two sons Tommy and wife Sandra Lane of Marble Falls, TX and Gene and wife Julie Lane of Lampasas, TX: granddaughter, Melissa Bond and grandson Travis Lane both of Marble Falls, TX; and granddaughter Julie Lane of Lampasas, TX; Morris is also survived by his great grandson Joshua Bond of Marble Falls as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at Riley Funeral Home. Graveside Services are being held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at Langford Cemetery in Evant TX.
