Rosa Faye Bennett

Faye was born August 17, 1923 in Hamilton to Ivan Gregory and Rosa Moore Gregory. She married Talmage “Shorty” Bennet. They spent 18 years in Belton and she had lived in Hamilton for the past 12 years. Faye was a nurse specializing in geriatric care and lived and worked in central Texas most of her life. She loved to cook and enjoyed life the most during family gatherings.

Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband Talmage April 23, 2000 and by one son, Gene Bennett.

Survivors include four sons; Theron “Chip” Bennett of Hamilton, Randy Bennett of Odessa, Ronnie Bennett of Tyler and Kenneth Bennett; two grandsons John Bennett of Odessa and Joseph Bennett and his wife Angie of San Angelo; three granddaughters, Sydney Eary and her husband Matthew of Hamilton, Stacy Price and her husband Robert of Hamilton, and Linden Miller and her husband Kyle of Oglesby; nine great-grandchildren, Jordan Howland, Nevaeh Hinson, Sean Hinson, Mykena Eary, Fisher Eary, Dylan Price, Austin Price, Barrett Miller.
