

Carlos dedicated 26 years of his life to a career in truck driving. He was a devoted family man, survived by his wife, Alicia Nieto; his sons, Carlos Nieto and Michael Nieto; his daughter, Melanie Gutierrez; his son-in-law, Jose Gutierrez; and his cherished grandson, Luka "Chinito" Gutierrez.
Carlos had a passion for reading and enjoyed listening to podcasts and audio books. He was an avid music lover, with a particular fondness for bands such as Scorpions, AC/DC, El Flako, and Eagles.
Carlos was known for his love of watching K-dramas and playing with his grandson. He was a big goofball who loved being with his family, going out to eat with his wife and kids, and taking walks. He cherished his time on his hammock and took pride in being well-dressed, with a collection of colognes to ensure he always smelled nice and clean. Carlos was the life of the party, loved talking to everyone, and was known for being very giving and caring. He had a deep love for his brothers and sisters and was always there to help anyone in need. Carlos was also known for his organizational skills.
Carlos was preceded in death by Imelda Nieto, Felix Nieto, Faith Castro, Reyes Carrasco, Linda Alcantar, Ceasar Carrasco, and Eloy Carrasco.
A funeral service will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Hesperia, located at 16120 Main Street, Hesperia, CA 92345, on February 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
