David was born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. At the age of 10 years old he moved to California with his Mother, Evelyn and his Brother, Timmy. Evelyn met Bill Atkins and became Evelyn Atkins. Evie and the boys were welcomed with opened arms into the Atkins family.
When Dave was older, he drove semi trucks for Atkins Trucking for several years, residing in Hesperia,CA
Dave was kind, funny, happy, considerate man and his smile would lite up a room.
Dave is survived by his Father, Bill, Mother, Evelyn, Brothers, Jonathan and Timmy, Sister, Melissa ( Paul), Nephew, Mathew, Nieces, Amanda (Servando) Alexandria, Aunt Kitty, Cousin, Cindy and many more friends and family.
A Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be on October 12th at 1:00 PM at the hone of Bill and Evie Atkins.
