

John William Stafford, 79, of Hesperia, California passed away October 13, 2017, at his home. John was born October 27th. 1937 in Sibley, Missouri to Joseph Elwood Stafford and Grace Alma Fairce (Stafford).
He lived in San Pedro, California for 20 years before moving to the high desert in 1980 where he touched many lives with his smile and generosity. John could accomplish anything he set his mind to and was considered a master tinker in his own rights. John loved listening to a large array of music from his favorite doo-wop to rock n’ roll.
His interests included motorcycles, avid gun collector, and restoring old radios. John’s love for the outdoors was quite prevalent with yearly camping trips with his family and friends.
John is a widower to Sharon Ann Stafford and survived by his brother Jim Stafford and two sisters, Joan Ruth Medina (Stafford) and Dorothy Lee Vega (Stafford). His two sons Mark and Gregory Stafford, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. May he rest in peace in the arms of the lord.
Memorial service will be held at Kern Hesperia mortuary in Hesperia Ca. at 3 pm, Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. Reception and celebration of his life for immediate family will follow.
