

He is survived by his two sons, Michael and Israel, his two sisters, Marie and Lola, and his brother Chuy, along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Joe’s life was characterized by his love of nature and his generosity. He donated to numerous non-profit organizations, including impoverished and deprived children.
Joe was born in Mexico and his family moved to the United States when he was a teenager. After learning English in school, Joe began a career as a landscaper and eventually built his own licensed business. Joe’s business, “JC Salazar Landscape”, became very successful, earning large commercial and government contracts. Through his business, Joe provided life guidance and employment to countless friends and family members.
The memorial service for Joe will be for immediate family members only. The service will take place on July 25th, from 10 am to noon. After the service, all of Joe’s family and friends are welcome to gather at his property – 10634 Coleridge Rd, Oak Hills, CA 92344 – from 12:30 p.m. until the evening. There will be a food truck. Please bring your own chairs, refreshments, and a side dish, if you’d like (not necessary).
