January 25, 1937 – January 18, 2018
Judith (Judy) Ann Agnich was born on January 25, 1937 in Fresno, CA to Clarence (Larry) Wilmoth and Dorothy Sager-Wilmoth-Gilman. She went home to our Heavenly Father on January 18, 2018 following a eight month battle with cancer.
Judy graduated from Roosevelt High School, where she was very active in club and school activities. She married Max Downs Jr. and was blessed to be the loving mother of five children, all of whom were born in Fresno/Madera Counties. Judy moved to Lake Forest, CA where she met and married the love of her life, Eddie Agnich (Keeley). Judy and her loving husband moved to the Apple Valley/Hesperia area in 1998 where they embarked together on the adventure of a lifetime.
Judy was a beloved “Mary Kay Lady” for 38 years. Judy’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and all sorts of outdoor activities. She was a true “Shutter Bug”, always taking pictures of memories that she helped create. Judy loved painting and was a member of the Artists of the High Desert painting club. She had an adventurous spirit and drove an 18-wheeler as well as participated in an active cattle drive where she inspired a skinny-dip in a water hole to “wash up”. She always faced challenges head-on and never ran away from trouble.
Judy held a strong faith and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mojave River Ward.
Judy was proceeded in death by her father, mother, step-father Marvin Schuler, brother Casey Wilmoth, and grandson Christopher Marbry. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Eddie Agnich, sister Lynette Gabrielson (Steve), brother Scott Gilman (Brenda), son Dennis Downs (Dale), daughter Lori Fernandes (Greg), son Randy Downs (Lorraine), son Marty Downs (Renee), son Dallas Dodge (Michelle), nephew Bill Robertson (Allison), stepdaughter Cindy Keeley, stepson Skip Keeley, 10 grandchildren/step-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank daughter-in-law Lorraine for the love, support and care she provided Judy, and Seasons Hospice of Hesperia for the compassionate care they provided Judy during her final days.
