Raymond Bustamante was born, raised and died in Barstow, California. He died at home on March 18, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. He worked at many different jobs during his lifetime. He was just a man, not a saintly one and not an evil one. He was a blessing to those he loved and he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his son Raymond Jr., his parents Jose and Adela, brothers Ruben Sanchez (Yolanda), Manual, George (Linda), Leo (Barbara), and Dorro Bustamante, and sisters Sarah Chavira and Rosie Sisneros (Benicio).
He is survived by his wife Cathy Bustamante, daughters Melissa Islas (Eddie), Sharon Pollack, Rebecca Garus (Greg) and son, Anthony Hinton (Laura). Also by brother Gene Bustamante, and sisters Ernestina (Eliseo) Sisneros, Teresa Maupin and Josie Garcia. His grandchildren Maranda (Josh), Marvin Jr., Miguel, Zachary, Samuel, Dylan, Paeden, Benjamin, Audrey, Ohin and great granddaughter Zia. He is also survived by many, many, cousins, nieces and nephews. As per his request, there will be no service.
