My deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Beth. Beth was my first social work supervisor at the Bensonhurst Senior Assistance Center and I remember her as a nurturing and wise mentor . She was a born leader who looked for ways for her team to succeed and taught us how to become better social workers and better people. Beth devoted her professional life to bettering the lives of others and she did so with grace and compassion . I recently read an old evaluation that Beth had written and I had saved and in it, she  mentioned the importance of instilling hope in others . I believe Beth spent her life doing just that. May she rest in peace.

Beth was an extraordinary person. A truly good person.  She was smart, compassionate, generous, quick-witted and possessed a great sense of humor. She hired me for my first job providing social services to elders. Her mentoring put me on a path to becoming a proud social worker. She will be greatly missed.

Beth was my neighbor down the hall and my friend. We bonded over cat talk and each others’ cats. She was funny, feisty and caring. I will miss having coffee with her and chatting. I will miss the memes she sent me once a week.  I will miss her. 
I am so sad but I am thankful that I got to know Beth and have her in my life.

I met Beth in 1983 when she hired me right out of graduate school for my very first social work job. Beth was a wonderful mentor who inspired me as she seamlessly blended skill and compassion. She also was a nurturing manager who created a work environment that felt like a little family. I went on to have a long career working with older adults and I attribute this, in large part, to my early years working with Beth. She was a force of good and will be remembered as such. May she rest in peace.

I miss you so much.  I know every time something happens that I find funny or ridiculous I will go to pick up the phone to share with you.  At  this moment I  will remember you are gone.  I miss you now and I am going to miss you in the future.  Thank you for all the love and support you gave me.  I am so glad we were able to share many tears and laughter.

Beth was my amazing friend for over 40 years. She was kind and loving and always willing to be there through the rough times. She was a geriatric social worker who understood and cared for elders  with incredible patience and skill. She shared her skills with many young social workers, teaching and modeling  the finer and more subtle aspects of our profession. She impacted a whole generation which has been carrying on her work for  many years.
She was a gift and a blessing and will be missed.

Beth was a dear friend in the handful of years I knew her. She was beautiful inside and out and I’ll never forget her loving words and advice . We bonded over our love of beauty products and over being Sagittarius. I will miss her dearly and am so devastated that she is no longer with us. She deserved more time here. May she rest in peace always.
