As the first anniversary of dear Cousin Gail's passing is approaching, we look back on a year of missing her.  Though holidays and birthdays continued to be celebrated throughout the year, they occurred without Gail's uniquely joyous and exquisitely warm embrace.  Our family has felt a deep sense of loss as we could no longer feel Gail's shining spirit, experience her numerous talents, learn from her profound wisdom and be in the company of her loving presence.  Dear Gail was the glue that helped bind us all together and she is profoundly missed.  We will love her always as she is always in our hearts.

Aunt Gail was one of the brightest lights in my life. She leaves a hole in my heart that no one else will ever fill. I will miss her loving kindness and support forever. I hope that she knew how much she meant to me and to all of my family.

Gail was the one who always brought the family together and she was the glue that held us together.  Now, we must keep her memory alive by continuing to always be together as family.   I will particularly miss our frequent warm letter writing. Gail will be dearly missed.

I will always remember the beautiful meals, the friendship and camaraderie, and the laughs we shared.  Gail was an incredibly warm, dear, apprecciative, and supportive human being to so many.  She was filled with love, devotion, tenderness and a kind, giving nature, especially to those in need.  Her quilts are everywhere, and those who hold them will feel the love she had for others, coming right through the stitches.  She will forever be remembered as one with an open heart, a keen mind, a lover of the arts, a wonderful, interested listener, a giver of wisdom, and a dear friend.  -Love and friendship.
