Andrew is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Halina Ruszkiewicz; three children, Tamara (Ruszkiewicz) Porter, Andrea (Mike) Saricos, and David Ruszkiewicz; five grandchildren, Stefanie (Juan) Solano, Kevin Porter, Stephen Saricos, and Dylan and Hannah Ruszkiewicz; three great-grandchildren, Camilo, Liliana, and Mateo Solano; and brother, Marion Ruszkiewicz from Ostrowiec SW, Poland.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Waclaw Ruszkiewicz and Helena Leokadia (Fudalej) Ruszkiewicz from Ostrowiec SW, Poland; and brother, Jan Ruszkiewicz.
Andrew was born in Ostrowiec SW, Poland, on April 22, 1936, and came to the United States in 1964 when he was 28 years old. He retired as a proud union worker with over 32 years as a machinist at U.S. Steel. He loved fishing, hunting, traveling, and camping with his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
