Blossom Blanche Blessman Eller

Blossom Blanche Eller (nee Blessman) age 91 of Dyer, Indiana formerly of Highland passed away Tuesday October 8, 2013 at her home to join the love of her life, her husband of 51 years, Rudolf Eller. She was born November 22, 1921 to Blanche (nee Pope) and Christian Blessman in Chicago, Illinois. Blossom was a model in her earlier years and was quite an elegant dresser. She was a spiritual woman who loved her Heavenly Father. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved reading, going camping and fishing with her beloved husband and she enjoyed going to the lake. Blossom is survived by two sons Ted (Sandy) Graves and Rudi (LeAnne) Eller; three daughters Chris (Gus) Esparza, Sandy (Chuck) Englehart, and Cindy (Thomas) Mueller-Brown ; fourteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren. Blossom was preceded in death by her husband Rudolf, her mother and father and her son in law Greg Mueller.

Funeral services will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 9:30 AM with Bishop Wayne Ault officiating. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 10 from 4-8 PM.

Blossom lived with her youngest daughter for seven years. She enjoyed her special caregivers Jennifer Sheets and Nicole Mueller for the last days of her life. She will be missed dearly.
