Bobbie Inez Putman

Bobbie Inez Putman, age 91, of Wittenberg Village, Crown Point, IN passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. Bobbie was a loving, devoted and talented wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard T. Putman. She is survived by her children Judy (John) Toren and Gary (Linda) Putman, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. As a long time Hammond resident, her life was filled with accomplishment. She successfully trained and worked in several vocations prior to her and her husband’s retirement to Tennessee. In retirement they continued to use her artistic talents and her husband’s craftsmanship in home businesses. In later years, she returned to the area to be closer to her daughter. Visitation will be held at the Scottsboro Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 with interment at Clay Cemetery in Princeton, Alabama immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wittenberg Village or Harbor Light Hospice in Crown Point, IN. Local arrangements entrusted to Kuiper Funeral Home.
