Bobby G. Griffin

Bobby G. Griffin, age 82, of Hammond, IN passed away Sunday May 17, 2015. Bobby is survived by his wife, Wilma (nee Riddlebarger); children: Connie (Russ) Duke of Merrillville, Glenda (Steve) Waldron of Valparaiso, Pat (Roger) Forsythe of Valparaiso, Vern (Joan) Young of Dyer and Dale Young of Munster; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law Patricia Colvert of AL; and brother-in-law Buddy (Barb) Thompson of AL. Bobby was preceded in death by his former wife, Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN (two blocks south of Ridge Road) with Rev. Scott Ferry officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday May 21 from 3-8 PM at the funeral home. Bobby was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Hammond. He was a veteran of the US Army.
