Charles Albert Andrews

Charles Albert Andrews, age 83, of Highland, IN passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; three children: Darcy (Daniel) Hammon, James (Theresa) Andrews and Michael Andrews; five grandchildren: Jessica and Jason Branik, Megan (Bart) Amburn, Matthew and Patrick Andrews; two great grandchildren: Jordan Branik and Anthony Ramirez; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Ethel Andrews; and sister, Jeanne Arbuckle. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Doug Klukken officiating. Cremation will follow service. Friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mr. Andrews retired from the School City of Hammond with over 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
