Daniel Slachta

Daniel Slachta passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He was born in Hammond, IN on December 1, 1982. He is survived by his son Micky; daughter Allison; parents: Ben and Cheryl; brother Jamie; sister Lisa (Jimmy) Link; niece Kayla; nephews: Jacob, Keagan and Kyle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Daniel Jr.; paternal grandparents: Ben and Joan Slachta; maternal grandparents: Charles and Odell Greene. Dan loved being a father and his children were his world. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, football, NASCAR and his furry friend Phil. A memorial celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home with a Prayer service to follow at 5:00 p.m.
