David D. Pry, age 60 of Highland, passed away September 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary; one son, Steven Pry of Indianapolis; one daughter, Sarah (Joe) Kuechenmeister of Crown Point; granddaughter, Alexandra; and his mother, Doris Pry of Highland. Preceded in death by his father, James. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with Dr. Bassam J. Abdallah officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. David was employed at Arcelor-Mittal Steel for 42 years, a member of American Legion Post 66 of Griffith and VFW. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam.
