I spoke to Aunt Dot in July and we had a beautiful conversation.  She told me about Pepere Michaud telling them that during the 1918 Spanish flu he was the only one in his family who did not catch it and he had to cook (and did not know how to cook) for everybody.   David, Dawn and Mark, she spoke often about all of you with admiration and loved all of her grandchildren. My heart goes out to all of you.  

I loved Dorothy so much.  She was a friend, confidant, mentor and mom to me.  I am so heartbroken and will miss her for the rest of my life.  She was a lady and lived for her children and grandchildren and great grand children.  I love you mom, you were the best.
