Duane Trosper

Duane Trosper, age 55, of Griffith, IN went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ unexpectedly on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Duane was born October 7, 1966 to the late Garnett and Wilma Pauline (Lowe) Trosper in Gary, IN.

During high school, Duane was a lifeguard, that is most likely where his drive for helping others was established. His Apostolic and Pentecostal faith was his foundation in life. He also really enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggert on T.V., traveling to Florida, taking many fishing trips, and coon hunting.

Duane's big kind hearted soul, willingness to always help others whenever he could, and sarcastic sense of humor will forever be missed. His faithfulness and devotion to God, along with his loving spirit as a husband, father, uncle, brother and friend will never be forgotten.

He leaves behind his darling wife, Sara Trosper; three daughters, Ashley, Brittany, Lexi; brother Danny Trosper; along with several in-laws, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Duane is welcomed in to eternity by his parents, Garnett and Pauline Trosper and the apple of his eye, Scarlett the magnificent brindle boxer he would affectionately call puppy.

A memorial visitation for Duane will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 5PM until the time of his Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 7PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN 46322. Prophetess Sharon Fletcher will be officiating. Private committal service will take place at a later date.
