Evelyn M. Wilkins

Evelyn M. Wilkins (nee Moore), age 82, of Highland, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dewey D.; four children; Vicki (Donald) Wood of Satellite Beach, FL, Shirley Wilkins of Clearwater, FL, Michael Wilkins of Griffith, IN and Joanie (Greg) Sjoquist of Clearwater, FL; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four brothers: Lawrence (Grace) Moore of FL, Norman (Ginny) Moore of AL, Edwin (Janice) Moore of TN, and Kenneth (Caryn) Moore of Highland, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her parents: Ray and Lillian Moore; and brother, James Moore. Funeral services Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Calvary Baptist Church, 9516 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN with Pastor Don Rector officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Highland. Evelyn lived her life for her God & family. She also enjoyed fishing.
