Francisco R. Bejar

Frank R. Bejar Sr. passed away in Crown Point, Indiana, September 1st, 2019. Frank was born May 8, 1924, in Huntley, Wyoming to Jose Bejar and Angelina Rocha. On August 26, 1944 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Indiana Harbor, he married Matiana Alviso, who preceded him in death. Frank is also preceded by a brother Miguel and three sisters, Elvira, Luz and Amalia. He leaves three children, Gloria Gomez (Louis), Manny Bejar (Maureen), and Frank Bejar Jr. (Olga) and six grandchildren Louis Gomez Jr., Martha Foster (Tom), Frank Bejar III (Juana), Jessica Bejar, Michael Bejar (Stacy), and Steven Guerrero, then two great grandchildren Abby and Eddie. Frank was retired from Inland Steel. He was the president of the Munster Chapter of Lions for several years and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Hammond. In his retirement years Frank enjoyed playing cards with Matiana and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
