Gene Leroy Wilcox, age 78, former resident of Griffith, IN, for 69 years and recent resident of Owatonna, MN, for 9 years passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He is survived by nieces and nephews as well as many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel (Bunch); his father, Glenn ; his sister Vera (Price); and his two brothers, Aubrey and Clyde. Gene was a devout Christian and cherished his family and friends. He always had a contagious, uplifting smile for anyone he came in contact with during the day. A memorial visitation will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN.
