Harold R. Fowler, age 80, of Griffith, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda (nee Purcell); one son, Jeff Fowler at home; one daughter, Kathy (Chris) Gonzalez of Gary, IN; three grandchildren: Ashley (Jake), Emily, and Hannah; one great grandson, Easton; three brothers: Billy (Shirley) Fowler of Demotte, IN, Lonnie (Jan) Fowler of Winamac, Dwight (Gerry) Fowler of Monterey, IN; three sisters: Oretha Davis, Elwanda Taylor, both of Arkansas, Mitzi (Matt) Marianetti of Illinois. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, 11:00AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Parnell officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9030 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks South of Ridge Rd.) Highland. Mr.Fowler retired from the Ford motor company with 30 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
