Helen Lorraine Swinehart Grunewald

Helen Lorraine Grunewald (nee Swinehart), 86, of Monon, IN passed away March 29, 2013. She was born in Hammond, IN, on October 30, 1926. Helen is survived by one daughter, Sherry (Fred) Herr, four grandchildren, Kym (Bob) Clouse-Baker, Jennifer(James) Annis, Bill(Julie) Clouse, Garry(Erin) Svetic, five great-grandchildren, Emilee( Nathanial) Shaw, Clint Clouse, Mark Clouse, Lauren Annis, Christopher Annis, and one great-great- grandchild, Rilee Ann Shaw, two sisters-in-law Wilma Swienconek and Esther Woolard, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband William, parents Harold and Martha Swinehart, one brother Harold ”Buddy" Swinehart . Helen retired from Hammond Lead Products in 1986, and was a resident of Munster, IN until moving to Monon, Indiana in 2004. She was a loving dedicated grandma who adored all her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going out to eat with family. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 4th, 2013, 10:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home 9030 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN, Pastor Steve Birch officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday April 3rd, from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
