Janet M. Miller, age 73, of Highland passed away Monday, October 6, 2014. Survived by one son Dean (Kelley) Miller of Highland; one daughter Cherree (Brent) Leffel of Highland; two grandchildren: Ava and Daniel; loving grandpuppy; one brother James (Pam) Derflinger, Lowell; three sisters: Beverly (Bob) Henry, California; Betty (Ray) Markovich, Munster; Gussie Day, California; several nephews and nieces and godchild Michelle Marie and dear friends; sister in law Mylane (Bill) Baldin, Highland; preceded in death by husband Dan Miller. Funeral services Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman (2 blocks South Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN. Mrs. Miller was retired from Hinshaw & Culbertson, Member of the F.O.P. Don Sheppard Lodge #122, an avid bowler at Plaza Lanes.
