John S Hatagan

JOHN S. HATAGAN VALPARAISO, IN John S. Hatagan, age 84, of Valparaiso, passed away on February 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vi (nee Cergizan); two sons: John (Nancee) Hatagan, Jr. of Ohio and Jerry (Katie) Hatagan of Valparaiso; one daughter, Rosemary (Leon) Foster of Ohio; nine grandchildren; and sister, Marian Tasca of Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Highland with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Cremation will follow the Mass. Friends may call on the family on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN where a prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM. Additional visitation will occur from 9:30 AM until the Mass at the Church on Saturday. Mr. Hatagan was a member of St. James Catholic Church as well as a Holy Name member of the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) Highland Council, member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge 215, and an advisor to the Selective Service Board.
