Justin Petrukitas, age 87, of Highland, IN passed away October 25, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jennetta; two sons: John (Pat) Petrukitas of CO and James (Rhonda) Petrukitas of LaPorte, IN; two daughters: Vicki (Jim) Dwyer of LaPorte, IN and Justine (David) Rumas of Highland, IN; seven grandchildren: James (Jane) Littiken; Beth Ann (Nick) Acosta, Rob (Leigh) Littiken, Peter (Tina) Petrukitas, Jeremy Rumas, Nick (Shineae) Rumas and Justin Dwyer; five great grandchildren: Brandi, Joe, Casey, Meagan and Taylor. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with grandson, Nicholas Rumas officiating. Burial at Catholic Cemeteries. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Justin was retired from Cities Service Oil Refinery after 30 years of service and U.S. Steel after 10 years of service. Mr. Petrukitas was a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
