

Ken was the beloved father to David Dykstra and Sheryl Dykstra; proud grandfather to Joshua Dykstra, Nathan Dykstra; and his favorite granddaughters, Katelyn Dykstra, Carla Ruisard, and Hannah Dykstra; great-grandfather to Xavier English, Isabel Ruisard and Riff Ruisard.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ena; his son, Robert Dykstra; and his daughter, Susan Woodle.
Ken received his MBA from Grand Valley State before entering the banking industry. He was a longtime employee of Bank of Indiana, followed by Brinks.
Ken was a faithful member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Lansing, IL. He had a love of trains throughout his life, and was a model train club member. He was an avid bowler, and bowled in leagues for many years. He loved watching sports, especially University of Michigan games. Go Blue!
Ken will be deeply missed by those who were privileged enough to know and love him.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of his Funeral at 11:00 am at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322.
