Larry C. Meyer, age 72, died on Sunday October 9, 2022. Larry was born on November 23, 1949. Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and longtime resident of Griffith, IN until 1993, then spent the rest of his life residing in Gary, IN.
He graduated from Calumet High School in 1969, and then proceeded to work 42 years as an operating engineer for Local 150.
Larry is survived by his three sons, Paul (Kim) Meyer, Joshua (Sheila) Meyer, Daniel Meyer, Brother, Benny Meyer, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lilly Bell Meyer.
Larry was a genuine man, he loved tractors and restoring them, multi facets of art, and had a gift of dancing. He loved Christian Music and Billy Graham radio and had a love for animals.
