Louise A. Oman Kornmann

Louise A. Kornmann, age 83, of Highland, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry; one son, Tim (Jeanne) Kornmann of NV; two daughters: Karen (Glenn) Harwood of CA and Gayle L. Manassa of IL; four grandchildren: Traci (Mike) Otterman of IL, Kristy Guernsey of Chicago, Christopher Harwood of CA and Tyler Manassa of IL; one great granddaughter, Jade Louise Otterman of IL; one brother, James (Louise) Oman of Griffith; and two sisters: Margaret Clark of Schererville and Carol Portman of Merrillville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Beslich and brother, Gust Oman Jr. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Burkman and Rev. Eric Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd.(2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana. Mrs. Kornmann was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Highland and retired from Mercantile Bank after 28 years of service. Louise just loved vacationing with her family in Las Vegas.
